Corn Palak Rolls
Corn Palak Rolls
(Serves: 2)
Ingredients (For Rolls)
¾ th cup chopped spinach
1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 green chilli
1 tsp oil
salt to taste
whole wheat flour for rolling
Ingredients (For Stuffing)
¼ th cup boiled corns
1 onion sliced
1 tomato pureed
¼ cup chopped capsicum
Salt & pepper to taste
¾ thtsporegano
How to make
Combine the spinach, lemon juice and green chilly in a mixer and blend to a smooth purée.
Add salt to the spinach purée and knead to a soft dough using enough water. Keep aside covered.
Saute the onions & capsicum. Add the boiled corns ,tomato puree followed by adding salt ,pepper & oregano.Simmer for 5 min.The filling is ready.
Now divide the dough into 2 equal portions and using a little whole wheat flour for rolling, roll into thin chapatis.
Heat a ceramic tava (griddle) and cook each chapati on both sides, using not more than 1 tsp oil, till brown spots appear on both the sides.
Put the filling over the chapati& roll. Serve hot.
